Two for Tripping loves to play at weddings because ballads are a huge part of what we do. Every wedding we play is different; each having its own unique theme with love being the only true constant. We have done some interesting stuff – anything and everything from classical country, folk, contemporary, rock & roll, jazz and beyond. The genre doesn’t matter when it comes to your wedding day; the right song is the one that means something to you.
Our main role at weddings generally comes in three parts; the walk down the aisle, the first dance and the first parent dance. With enough advance notice, we can take the time to perfect any song(s) we are not already familiar with. We make an effort to not only learn your song, but to learn where you, as a couple, are coming from in your song choices and to sing it from that emotion. It’s about your love, after all.
